The MINI Countryman is a small SUV. It is the most spacious MINI made to date. The Countryman seats five comfortably while providing a large amount of cargo space. The ride height is taller than its fellow AWD MINI model, the Clubman, which allows the driver to have a higher seating position, and therefore, point of view. The ride height and AWD also allows the driver to take his/her vehicle onto alternate terrain without a problem.

The MINI Clubman is a sport wagon. With a slightly longer and sleeker look, this model keeps the sportiness of the 4 door hardtop while also providing more room for passengers and cargo. The Clubman seats five just like the Countryman, but has a shorter ride height and a wider stance. A distinctive trait of this model is its barn doors. While the Countryman has a traditional hatch-style trunk, the Clubman has two center-latched, outward swinging rear doors. This allows the driver to fit more into the rear cargo space on a wider aspect.

If you want two doors but do not want a convertible, the model of choice will be the MINI 2 Door Hardtop.
